Am I Eligible for the BUS?

The BUS is open to homeowners in England and Wales who own a property with a gas, oil, electric, or LPG boiler.  There are a few additional eligibility criteria to consider:

• Energy Performance Certificate (EPC): Previously, homeowners needed to have no outstanding recommendations for loft and cavity wall insulation on their EPC. However, recent changes have removed this requirement, making the scheme more accessible.
• Installer Requirements:  The installer you choose must be certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).  This ensures they meet the necessary qualifications and standards for BUS installations.
