Information about our charges
These charges apply to any work we attend without a prior accepted quotation.
Important: If you wish to cancel a booking, please give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. By booking an appointment without a prior accepted quotation for the work, you agree to the information set out below. If you have any queries, please contact us on 07871 725 133 immediately.
Standard hourly rate
Scheduled work in normal working hours
£85 + VAT per hour
This rate applies to all work scheduled during our normal working hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm) where the job can be booked in to suit us and does not need to be carried out within 48 hours.
Urgent callout
Unscheduled work within 48 hours
£120 + VAT - first hour
£85 + VAT - each subsequent hour
This charge applies when work cannot wait and needs to be scheduled within 48 hours during normal working hours.
Emergency callout
Out of hours or weekends
£180 + VAT - first hour
£85 + VAT - each subsequent hour
This charge applies when work cannot wait and we are required to attend outside of our normal working hours, including evenings and weekends.
How our charges work
• The first hour is chargeable whether we are on site for 6 minutes or 60 minutes.
• After the first hour, time is charged in half-hour increments. A half-hour increment is added if the total job time runs more than 10 minutes into the next half hour. For example: a total job time of 1 hour 11 minutes = first hour + one additional half hour.
• Time is recorded using GPS tracking software. This is how our charges are calculated. A screenshot of the time tracked can be provided on request.
• The first hour may be chargeable even if we are unable to resolve the problem on that visit.
• Time is charged from when we leave our current location to attend your job, until we leave your property (one-way travel only).
• If you have provided a mobile number, you will receive a text message when we are on our way. Time is charged from this point.
• Payment is required at the end of the visit by bank transfer or card.
• The first hour charge does not apply when we are attending to carry out a free survey or quotation.
